Privacy Policy
The short version
Jigsawd collects only what it needs to run your puzzle log. We don’t show ads, we don’t sell your information, and we don’t track you across other apps or websites. You can delete your account and data at any time from inside the app.
What we collect
Account: your email address and password. Your password is stored scrambled (hashed), so nobody, including us, can read it.
Profile: your username, and the display name, bio and profile photo if you add them.
Puzzle activity: your shelves, and for each finished puzzle the date, rating, difficulty, time taken, who you did it with, your review, any photo you add, and whether it is “Only me”.
Community: who you follow, who you block, and any reports you send.
Catalog: puzzles you add, including their barcode and box photo.
Shop links: when you tap a “Where to buy” link we record which puzzle it was for and when, plus your account if you’re signed in, so we can count how many different people use them.
Camera and photos
The camera is used only when you scan a barcode or take a photo, and photo access only when you choose a picture. Barcodes are read on your phone. If a barcode isn’t in Jigsawd yet, the number (and nothing else about you) is sent to Open Products Facts to look up the puzzle.
What other people can see
Your profile, shelves, follows, public logs, reviews and photos can be seen by anyone using Jigsawd. Blocking someone hides your logs, reviews and shelves from each other, and people you block can’t open your profile.
Logs marked “Only me” are hidden from everyone else and never count in averages. Photos are stored at hard-to-guess web addresses, so treat any photo you add as something that could be seen if its link were shared.
Your email address is never shown to other people.
Services we use
Supabase stores our database, accounts and photos. Expo delivers app updates to your phone. Open Products Facts is used to look up unknown barcodes. If you tap a shop link, that shop (for example Amazon) receives your visit under its own privacy policy. These services only get what they need to do their job.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you have an account. When you delete your account (Profile → Account settings → Delete my account), your account, profile, shelves, logs, reviews, photos, follows and blocks are permanently deleted straight away.
Puzzles you added stay in the shared catalog without your name. Reports you sent and shop-link taps are kept without your account attached, so moderation records and click counts stay accurate.
Children
Jigsawd is not meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you think a child under 13 has an account, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Your choices
You can see and change your profile and logs in the app, mark any log “Only me”, block people, and delete your account. To ask for a copy of your information, or for anything else about your privacy, email us.
Changes and contact
